I would like to thank everyone who has helped me get the Orphan Art project off the ground. Without your help and support Orphan Art would still be an idea, instead it is now a reality.

My daughter and I have lived in Cambodia, we enjoyed it so much and will forever remember this experience.

I have seen hundreds of children,visited Orphans with HIV, spent time with street children in all the countries visited. It is my wish to continue this on a full time basis, being a single parent does have it's challenge's and the lack of endless funds do as well.

At this time we are in the states, but our hearts are in Asia, and with the children. My daughter is 8, we will continue to do our best. Please anything you can do is helpful, e-mail, visit it, purchase there work it really does matter, and make a difference. Please send suggestions or kudos to the kids they will and do appreciate it. Some of the ideas that have been discussed for creating revenue to continue our efforts include:

• Opening a small shop in Sarasota, prior to Christmas, which would display and sell the children's work as well as donated work form local and overseas artists.
• Creating a greeting card line from the kids' work with individual BIOS and pictures on the back.
• Holding several local fundraisers for supplies to the children.
• Seeking out and recruiting corporate donors.

Our ultimate goal is to become a fully self-supporting organization, relying primarily upon corporate and individual sponsors to cover operating expenses. This way all proceeds received from artwork sales will be forwarded directly to the children. Anything you could do to spread the word and help support our efforts would be greatly appreciated.
